What is the Recovery Research Network?
The RRN is a network for people who are interested or involved in recovery research to share their plans, present their research results, and develop collaborations for future projects.
The RRN was set up in 2009 as part of the REFOCUS programme, funded by the National Institute for Health Research. It is based in England, but many people from other countries have also joined: as at November 2022 we have 912 members from 53 countries (Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kenya, Latvia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA and Zimbabwe).
Our two main activities are a meeting every six months and a monthly e-bulletin. The meeting typically involves presentation of study designs, findings and plans. The e-bulletin keeps members updated about forthcoming conferences, new publications, and requests for input from RRN members.
The level of involvement is entirely up to each member, with no ongoing commitment. There is no cost to join the network, or for any of its activities.
See the links on the left for more information on the RRN
Who can join?
Anyone who has an interest in recovery research can join the RRN by filling in the online form. Membership is free.
If you join the Network, the details you supply will not be circulated to other members and will not be shared with any other organisation.
If you would like to leave the RRN and have your details removed from our database, please use the Unsubscribe function at the end of each monthly e-bulletin or email researchintorecovery@nottingham.ac.uk
