Our Section is often contacted to help find a lived experience speaker. We want to support the views and voices of people with personal experience of mental illness and its consequences being heard. In this part of our web-site we therefore maintain a list of people who can be contacted about speaking from their experiences. The people listed here come from a range of backgrounds, including people with their own experiences of mental illness and people with experience of supporting a family member or friend with a mental illness. They all have personal and positive stories to tell.
If you would like to contact one of them, then please click on their profile and you can send them a message to introduce yourself. We won't be involved in the discussion between you and the person with lived experience, and strongly suggest you discuss together what is needed before making any commitment, to make sure expectations on both sides can be met.
