The Camberwell Assessment of Need (CAN) is an assessment measure, which assesses the health and social needs of people with mental health problems.
Versions of the CAN have been developed for six different groups:
- Adults of working age with mental health problems - adult CAN
- Adults aged over 65 with mental health problems - CANE
- Adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities - CANDID
- Adults in contact with forensic mental health services: CANFOR
- Pregnant women and mothers with mental health problems: CAN-M
- People in humanitarian empergencies: HESPER
